I bought this a number of years ago from the man whose name is in the lid. He told me he carried this to school with him every day. It always contained a sandwich and a carton of milk (I'm not sure if he meant carton or bottle).
He said he continued to carry it when he went into the military - in Bismarck, North Dakota.
His mother's name is written in the lid as well.
Please note the patina, dents, rust, scrapes, etc. The pictures are considered part of the items description.
The lid fits securely, and the bottom is solid.
It measures 8" across × 5" wide × 4" tall with the lid on.
