This is a unique Scooby-Doo Lunch Bag Mystery Machine Lunch Bag Thermos Brand..for a couple of reasons.
First, it has a dual zippers,connected by a soft, blue cord, that are used for opening and closing, allowing for easier access for putting in and taking out lunches.
The Second feature that seems to make this a unique offering is It also has a place-mat built into one side...pretty cool and of all the Scooby-Doo lunch bags like this one listed here on e-bay, NONE of Them have either of these unique features..
Perhaps it was a prototype that was brought home by a worker who loves his child.
."Heck, Thermos will never know"...( we rarely approve of theft ) but now YOU know and its great...Knowledge is Power, something We DO approve of and believe they should teach in schools everywhere. This wonderful, maybe One of A Kind...to be honest and I always am...I don't know...but as wonderful as it is..Its not perfect. Sad, right?
And perhaps sadder, it does not have the Thermos that undoubtedly came with this Wonderful Scooby-Doo lunch bag...
But..the Dual Zippers work quite well, the connecting rope, twine..something. The built in place mat Velcro tabs are in good working order as are the Velcro straps that hold your or your child's thermos..we tested the straps here in the inventory lab..and this entire unique-sh lunch bag is still in good shape.
Nine of our Ten techs said that it was 'Good to go and ready to launch" ( all are former military ) The tenth one was having lunch using the traditional brown paper bag that has served this country well since its introduction to lunch carriers everywhere. This lunch bag as some signs of wear and a wee bit of dirt or something like it on the handle. I would hesitate to Machine Wash this.
I have cleaned this lunch bag with soap and paper towel...I recommend that if you buy this one or any other lunch bags like it.
.....OH...and One the unique built-in place mat is a place where the original student's name had been written with pride. The former owners, the student and their parents were so proud of this Unique Lunch bag, they placed the Student's name on it so If Lost, it could be returned. The monetary and pride value of ownership must have been immense for both the parents and student. All this lunch bag truly lacks is an owner who it will serve with pride.
