Vintage Incredible Hulk Lunch Box

Item Description: INCREDIBLE HULK METAL LUNCHBOX AND PLASTIC THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1978. This lunchkit features the Marvel superhero the Incredible Hulk. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby – this alter-ego of Dr. Robert Bruce Banner first appeared in May 1962 in the debut issue of the Marvel comic of the same name. Another incredible work of classic Americana design and artistry by AL art director Elmer Lehnhardt (who invented the embossed panel featured on and the 2nd year this new “deep-relief 3-D embossing” was introduced). Masterful use of color and characters. Depicts the green-skinned Hulk blasting through walls on the main panels – reminding us all to stay away from gamma rays! Note: We sold this box to the studio that created the comedy sit-com “Last Man Standing” starring Tim Allen. In the 6 th episode of Season 6 – Kyle walks in carrying the Hulk lunchbox 9.20 minutes into the episode. Pretty cool. Condition: Box is complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder). Box has no blemishes to the raised areas so typical with these vintage embossed boxes. Main and side panels are clean throughout.  Light rim wear - with no corner dents or dimples.  Metal hardware is nice and shiny.  Inside is also very clean with a few minor rubbings - with no previous owner's markings.  Box in overall Excellent Plus C-8.5 condition.  Thermos decals are clean throughout – in overall Excellent plus C-8.5 condition.
