Vintage ‘50s American Thermos Dome-top Black Metal Lunch Box

This is the archetypal lunchbox! It isn’t hard to imagine seeing a guy sitting on a steel girder pulling out his wax-paper-wrapped cheese sandwich and thermos of coffee from a beauty like this. This lunchbox comes complete with a 10”thermos and the internal clip that keeps it in place. It is in fair vintage condition with wear consistent with its age and use; there is heavy oxidation to the handle and latches, visible oxidation and various scratches to the body, and dents & paint loss to the thermos. It retains its structural integrity and would be a great piece for display or restoration. The lunch box measures approximately 10.25”Lx4.75”Dx7.5”H (including handle).
